The CD is a database of information about all 88 constellations in the night sky. It includes material on the location of constellations and when they are best seen, and it also describes points of interest such as deep sky objects, meteor showers, and the mythology associated with the oldest constellations.
Constellations are organized by alphabetical order and by month, as well as by the region where they can best be viewed. If you are looking for a constellation in a particular hemisphere, region will probably be the most helpful; if you want to know which constellations can be seen tonight, the month page contains a list of constellations organized by the time of year they are visible. If you are interested in browsing, any of the above pages could be a good starting point.
